Superstar Rajinikanth’s next, Annaatthe has been postponed until Diwali. The movie will now release on November 4th. Sources say that Rajinikanth is not in favor of attending the shoot before the completion of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections and hence the postponement.
“Rajinikanth abandoned the plans of political entry in the name of health concerns. In such a case, he should not be shooting for films as well. So to silence the critics, the Superstar decided to postpone the film,” sources close to the actor said.
Produced by Sun Pictures, the film also stars Keerthy Suresh, Nayanthara. Meena, and Khushbu. Annaatthe is being directed by Siruthai Siva. Siva previously directed a flop film, Daruvu with Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja in Telugu. He gave some impressive hits with Tamil Superstar, Ajith.Follow @THEPANIPURI
