Latest- Producers playing the waiting game

The theaters in Telangana are going to re-open from next week. Distributors and Exhibitors of various districts of Andhra Pradesh are apprehensive of opening the theaters in the near future. But some theaters will open for Dussehra.

The Trade is hoping that the Government of India allows 75% occupancy at least for Diwali in November so that they can get back to normal business. The theaters opening now will screen old movies like Bheeshma, Jaanu, Sarileru Neekevvaru, Ala Vaikuntapurramuloo, Hit, Palasa, etc.

They are also looking to screen some Bollywood and Hollywood films. The onus in this period is implementing COVID19 safety protocols and they are not looking for collections at this moment. They are hoping that everything should be near normal at least by Diwali. Let us see what is in cards!
