Tollywood Heros Looking Anxiously At Tamil Nadu

Thalapathy Vijay, the other day, met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Edapaddi Palanisami and requested him to allow 100% occupancy for his forthcoming film, Master. Currently, the film theaters in Tamil Nadu are allowed to operate at 50% occupancy due to Coronavirus scare.

It is not yet to know how the Chief Minister had responded to that. But Telugu heroes who have their films lined up for Sankranthi Release are waiting to see what happens in Tamil Nadu. If 100% occupancy is allowed there, they would rush to AP and Telangana Chief Minister with similar requests.

Allowing 100% occupancy in theaters is quite risky given the situation as we are in the middle of Pandemic. It will not be allowed unless the governments wanted to be in the good books of the so called stars. Ravi Teja’s Krack, Ram’s Red, Vijay’s Master, and Bellamkonda Sreenivas’s Alludu Adhurs are the releases confirmed for Sankranthi.
