Three High-Risk Coronavirus Zones in Vishakapatnam

Coronavirus scare is gripping the entire country. The total number of cases across the country almost touched 500. Both the Telugu States are under Lockdown for the last couple of days. One new case is registered in Andhra Pradesh today. The 25-year-old is detected positive in Vishakapatnam district.

He has Travel History from the UK to Vishakapatnam via Delhi. He traveled to Thagarapuvalasa on the car along with his father. His close-contacts are being traced. So far, three cases were detected in Vishakapatnam, the proposed Executive Capital of Andhra Pradesh. With this, the state government declared sensitive areas of Vishakapatnam as High-Risk Zones.

 Seethammadhaara, Gajuwaka, and Anakapalli are declared as high-risk zones since they have a huge influx of foreign travelers. Media reports say that the Central Government sent a list of 2400 foreign arrivals to Vishakapatnam from March 1st. Authorities only managed to identify 1470 of them. They are trying to locate the other by the end of the day today.
