Telangana Theater Owners’ Association Decides to Re-Open Theaters.

Telangana Theater Owners’ Association after a crucial meeting today announced that it is planning to reopen theaters from October 15th with 50% capacity and proper sanitization. Mask is mandatory for entry and every adjacent seat will be left empty.

The Association also appealed to the State Government to waive off the Minimum demand charges for Electricity for the Lockdown period and Resumption of Parking Charges. The State Government, on the other side, is yet to take a call on theaters re-opening.

These demands are already put forth before the Government by industry biggies but the Government is yet to take a call. The Theater owners announced that they are okay to release the movies which already released on the OTT. “We may even try to bring the audience to theaters with small films and old movies,” they said.
