Sukumar Turns Srimanthudu For His Native Village

Director Sukumar decided to do something for his native village, Mattaparru (East Godavari district). Before coming to the movies, Sukumar who was a teacher by profession had decided to construct a new building for the school in the village. He decided to build a two-storeyed school building in the name of his father Tirupati Rao Naidu.

It is being constructed at a cost of around Rs 14 lakh. Construction is going fast and he intends to complete its construction by the time the schools meet. While this is going on … Sukumar is looking forward to starting shooting for his next film Pushpa. He is waiting for Corona cases to dip to start the shoot.

Pushpa is Sukumar’s first pan-India project and is starring Allu Arjun as the hero. Rashmika Mandanna plays the heroine. Allu Arjun will be seen in the film as a lorry driver named Pushpa Raj. The film is said to be set against the backdrop of Red Sanders smuggling in the Seshachalam forests.
