It is known to our readers that Madras High Court rapped Superstar Rajinikanth for approaching it over the property tax demand. The Superstar has now paid Rs 6.56 lakhs to Chennai Corporation as property tax for his Raghavendra Wedding Hall.
This morning Rajini acknowledged that approaching the High Court over the payment of the property tax was a mistake. Earlier, in his petition, the Superstar states that he hasn’t let out the marriage hall since March 24, so no revenue generated after it.
Rajinikanth claims that according to rules, any building is vacant for 30 days is entitled to the remission of tax. The High Court warned the Superstar of imposing costs for rushing to the court against a property tax demand. Closing the lid on this controversy, he paid the tax. It ended like he lost his Reputation for no gain now.Follow @THEPANIPURI
