Rajinikanth Comes in Rescue of Filmworkers

Film Industry is the worst affected sector due to the Coronavirus Outbreak. All the shootings have come to a grinding halt and the film theaters were already shut from several days now. Film workers, junior artists, small-time technicians who depend on the daily wages are starving because of this shutdown.

In Kollywood, Suriya and Karthi have donated 10 Lakhs to Film Employees Federation of South India (FEFSI workers) and now, Superstar Rajinikanth donated another 50 Lakhs. FEFSI’s President RK Selvamani evaluated that One Crore rupees required to provide rice bags to 15,000 FEFSI workers.

Rajinikanth offered to contribute 50% of the amount. A total of 23 unions belonging to different trades in the film and television industry are affiliated to the FEFSI that has around 25,000 members. Its high time, Telugu Film Industry celebrities also come out and do their part in helping the secret warriors of the film industry.
