PV Sindhu creates history at Olympics

Badminton Champ, PV Sindhu has made us all proud. More than anything, the Telugu girl created a history of sorts as she became the first woman in India to win to back to back Olympic medals.

PV Sindhu defeated He Bing Jiao in straight games to clinch the bronze medal at the Tokyo Games. Sindhu defeated He Bing Jiao 21-13 and 21-15 in the bronze medal match and made everyone happy.

Sindhu was clinical throughout the contest and didn’t give her opponent any chance in the match. Sindhu had suffered a heart-breaking loss to world no.1 Tai Tzu Ying in the semi-final on Saturday. Sindhu lost the semi-final 18-21, 12-21.
