Post-Lockdown, Naarappa Back on Track

Massive Postponement for Naarappa?

Telugu Film Industry slowly starting to take baby steps towards normalcy. The Post-Production works have started and there are enough hints that the shooting will be allowed in the first night of June. Meanwhile, Victory Venkatesh’s Naarappa is also back on track.

The official remake of Dhanush’s Asuran wrapped up a lengthy schedule in Ananthapuram and parts of Tamilnadu before the lockdown was announced. The makers are currently editing the film. The movie shooting is completed except for 25 days of the shoot.

The movie was planned for Late Summer but now, it has become uncertain due to the Coronavirus Lockdown. Srikanth Addala who previously worked with Venkatesh in Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu is directing this remake Project. There are doubts about the director as his last film, Brahmotsavam ended up as a miserable flop.
