Andhra Pradesh Government has brought in the Night Curfew and 50% occupancy in theaters up to 31st of this month in the wake of increasing COVID cases in the state. Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya’s Bangarraju is announced for January 14th release.
There are rumors that Nagarjuna might pull out his film due to these curbs. But then, he surprised everyone by deciding to go ahead with their release plans. The makers have communicated the same to the distributors. Nagarjuna hopes the solo film advantage will compensate for the losses whatsoever.
They think the film doesn’t have much competition to worry about. Small films like Hero, Rowdy Boys, and Super Machi are releasing this Sankranthi. Bangarraju will have a long run at the theaters. Also, Zee Studios already bagged the film. They may opt for a shorter theatrical window if needed.Follow @THEPANIPURI
