Samantha is focusing on content-driven films after she became the daughter-in-law of Akkineni family. Her recent film, U-Turn did not do well at the box office even though it has got some decent content. Now, she is going to team up with talented lady director, Nandini Reddy which is said to be the remake of 2014 South Korean comedy-drama Miss Granny.
Sources say that young actor Naga Shaurya has been roped in to play a crucial role in this remake. The regular shoot will commence later this year and Suresh Babu will bankroll this untitled film. Naga Shaurya is fresh from a big failure like Narthanasala. Shaurya previously worked with Nandini Reddy in Kalyana Vaibhogame.
