Saaho movie starts off with Roy Industries (a company run by Mafia), trying to enter Indian market and the owner of Roy Industries (Jackie Shroff) gets killed after arriving in India. Simultaneously, there will be series of robberies that will be happening in Mumbai and a special under cover cop will be engaged to find the culprit. Ashok Chakravarthy (Prabhas), is the under cover cop who has a team under him and Amritha Nair (Shradda) is one of his team member. They both try to find the cuplrit in the robberies and they will find him. Here is the twist in the tale and movie moves to Waaji City (a city dominated by the mafia).

Devaraj(Chunkey Pandey), a mafia don, who aspires to take the position of Jackie Shroff will be looking for a black box, which is a key for 2 lakh crore worth money. Arun Vijay (son of Jackie Shroff), will also be looking for it. Rest of the story is about who gets the black box, what’s actually in the black box, who killed Jackie Shroff? Who will eventually get the black box and who takes the chairman position at Roy Industries finally?

Artistes’ Performances:

  • Prabhas did justice to the role. His looks in some shots could have been better

  • Shradda Kapoor is just okay

  • Arun Vijay acted well

  • Neil Nitin Mukesh acted well and suits the role

  • Chunkey Pandey is a good find. He acted very well

  • Interval Twist

  • Pre-Climax Episode

  • BGM

  • Action Sequences

  • Weak Plot

  • Boring First Half

  • Poor Screenplay

  • Songs and their placement

Saaho, probably one of the most anticipated movie of 2019 and got unprecedented craze has hit theaters today. It is the most ambitious project of UV Creations at a whopping 350 Crores budget and coming after Baahubali 2 for Prabhas. Expectations on the film were sky high and movie failed to live up to expectations. Sujeeth, who delivered a hit with his debut Run Raja Run couldn’t handle the plot well. The plot of the film is weak and makes us wonder, what’s the need in spending such a huge budget to tell a typical revenge story. There are too many actors in the film and no one leaves a solid impact. Prabhas and Shradda are just okay and nothing to rave about their performances. Production values of the film are good. Background score needs a special mention and it elevated some scenes well. First half of the movie bores you up until the interval and picks up the pace. Second half has bunch of twists and pre-climax episodes are pretty good. Overall, Saaho ends up as an average fare
