Punchline: Only for NTR Fans!

NTR Mahanayakudu is the sequel to NTR Kathanayakudu and primarily deals with the political journey of legendary actor Sr NTR. This part deals with how NTR became CM after forming the party and how Nadendla Bhaskar tries to grab the power from NTR and how he fights back. This doesn’t go beyond 1985 so there are no much episodes of his later stage of life.  Chandrababu Naidu episodes around 1989 are not shown and CBN is mostly shown in the positive light on how he helps NTR in coming back to power.

Artistes’ Performances:

  • Balayya’s Terrific Performance as NTR
  • Vidya Balan needs a special mention. She nailed it
  • Rana also did justice to the role
  • Rest all are okay

  • Balayya’s Performance
  • Vidya Balan’s Performance
  • Dialogues
  • BGM

  • Flat Narration. No Highs or Lows through out the movie
  • CBN Bhajana

NTR Mahanayakudu couldn’t generate much buzz before the release due to the disastrous performance of NTR Kathanayakudu. The movie released with lowest buzz ever for Balayya Babu. Krish’s direction was just okay and his narration was so flat. You just feel like watching some random scenes going one after other. Keeravani music is top notch and Sai Burra Madhav dialogues are one of the highlight. Balayya’s and Vidya Balan’s performance will be remembered for long time. However, the movie may only appeal to NTR fans and have nothing to offer for normal audience.
