Artistes’ Performances:

  • Akhil Akkineni is getting better with each movie. He excelled in his role
  • Nidhhi Aggerwal fits the bill
  • Priyadarshi, Hyper Aadi brings some laughs
  • Rest all cast did their bit

  • Akhil’s Performance
  • Few emotions in 1st Half
  • Production Values

  • Dragged 2nd Half
  • Routine & Predictable Story
  • Songs (except Mr Majnu title song)

Akhil, who has been desperately looking for a hit has come up with an another youthful story Mr. Majnu. Pre-release hype was just okay as the promos didn’t attract the audience much. Venky Atluri, who delivered a hit with Tholiprema is back again with Mr Majnu. However, he failed to succeed second movie syndrome and disappoints big time. Mr Majnu just follows the same template as Tholiprema and it feels cliched. It is a routine and predictable story. It would have still worked if the emotions would have worked, but you don’t connect to the emotions in second half. The only bright side to this film is Akhil Akkineni, who excelled in his role and looked dapper. However, he needs to be re-re-relaunched!
