Story:

Sanju(Ram), a jobless young man who will be enjoying his life in Kakinada decides to work in Hyderabad to keep his parents happy. His mom asks him to stay in his friend Prakash Raj’s house in Hyderabad. Anupama is Prakash Raj’s daughter and both Ram and Anupama will be staying in the same house. Prakash Raj is a man who will stick to his promises and gives a promise that he will get her daughter married to his colleagues son. He also promises that he will be a friend to Ram for a month and guide him as a friend instead of Anupama’s father. There will be many situations where he will be caught between the devil and deep sea because of this promise. Rest of the story is about how Ram and Anupama will get together? What happens to Prakash Raj promise to his colleague?

Artistes’ Performances:

  • Ram as always is very energetic and pulled off the role very easily
  • Anupama Parameswaran suited the role well
  • Pranitha is just okay
  • Prakash Raj perfectly fits the bill

Positives:

  • First Half
  • Praveen Spoof Scenes
  • Some Comedy Scenes

Negatives:

  • Dragged Second Half
  • Songs
  • Routine Storyline

Analysis:

Ram, who had two back to back flops with Hyper and Vunnadi Okkate Zindai, has been eagerly waiting for a hit and Hello Guru Premakosame by Trinadha Rao Nakkina was a very good opportunity. However, the movie failed to create any buzz before the release and even Dil Raju couldn’t do much to bring up the hype. Trinadha Rao handled the routine subject in an engaging way in first half and lost it in second half. First half starts in an entertaining way and sets right expectations on second half. In second half, the father and friend thread gets boring and slows the pace of the film. Overall, Hello Guru Prema Kosame is a decent one time watch if you don’t mind routine films with comedy.
