Story:

Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava is a story of rivalry between two villages Kommadi and Nallagudi. The rivalry starts as 5 Rs Faction as it starts when Jagapathi Babu owes 5 Rs in Cards game to a person from opposite village. Jagapathi Babu and Nagababu will be the heads for Nallagudi and Kommadi respectively. Veera Raghava (NTR) is son of Nagababu and arrives from London to see his family. Jagapathi Babu attacks Nagababu and Veera Raghava on their way to home and Nagababu will be killed. Veera Raghava leaves all this faction behind and leaves to Hyderabad in the best interest of village and meets Aravinda (Pooja Hegde), who will be studying a course on how to prevent factionism. He falls in love with her and also finds a solution to end the rivalry between the two villages. Rest of the story is how he convinces the people  not to fight and end faction. It also has a nice message about woman empowerment in the end.

Artistes’ Performances:

  • Jr NTR’s Performance is awesome and his dialogue modulation in Rayalseema dialect is crazy
  • Jagapathi Babu steals the show. He reminds you of Jagapathi Babu in Legend movie
  • Pooja is just okay
  • Sunil is okay too.
  • Naveen Chandra did a decent job.

Positives:

  • Jr.NTR’s Performance
  • Jagapathi Babu’s Performance
  • Dialogues
  • Some actions sequences (First 20 mins, meeting scene, warning over the phone)

Negatives:

  • Too Preachy
  • Lack of Entertainment
  • Routine Story
  • Lags in 1st Half

Analysis:

Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, which impressed everyone with it’s trailer has its own highs and lows. Trivikram, who had a bad outing with Agnyathavaasi definitely bounced back with Aravinda Sametha but it may not appeal to everyone as it gets too preachy and too emotional sometimes. Dialogues are definitely an asset to the film and NTR’s performance takes them to next level. The action blocks in the movie gives you goosebumps. However, on the flipside, this is a routine story that we may have seen umpteen times and there is no entertainment that you expect from Trivikram’s movies. Jagapathi Babu needs a special shout out for his performance. Overall, you can watch Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava for Jr.NTR!!
