Artistes’ Performances:

  • Kalyanram nailed it and he looks dapper
  • Shalini Pandey acted well too
  • Nivetha Thomas fits the bill

  • Racy First Half
  • Background Score
  • Crisp Editing
  • Concept

  • Some lags in 2nd Half
  • Some predictable scenes

Kalyanram, who was going through a rough phase recently has come up with an experimental film and the trailer has raised expectations on the film. 118 is directed by K.V Guhan and had a very interesting concept on Lucid Dreaming. Kalyanram’s performance needs a special mention and he looked dapper. Shalini Pandey’s first appearance after Arjun Reddy and she did justice to her role. Nivetha Thomas, though appears for short duration makes a good impact. First half of the film is really racy and second half of the film has some lags. However, the editing of the film is crisp and makes it a near engaging thriller. Overall, 118 is a good watch and a comeback film for Nandamuri Kalyanram.
