This year’s IPL has been postponed indefinitely due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The cancellation of the tournament will inflict a loss of 4000 Crore for the BCCI. So, the Sports Body is exploring all possible options to conduct the tournament.
The latest information is that this year IPL could be one city tournament in Mumbai in October. The matches will be held in four stadiums without spectators. The city has the Wankhede Stadium, Brabourne Stadium, and DY Patil (Navi Mumbai). There is another Reliance Ground in Ghansoli.
However, if any player in the middle of the tournament is tested positive, things could go horribly wrong. It is known to our readers that the 13th edition of IPL was earlier scheduled to commence from March 29, with Mumbai Indians and Chennai Super Kings meeting at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai for the first match.Follow @THEPANIPURI
