IPL 2021 has been suspended indefinitely after multiple cases surface in the teams. Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and Delhi Capitals are the teams where the COVID cases surfaced.
Sunrisers Hyderabad Wicket Keeper, Wriddhiman Saha is tested positive. According to the SOP of the IPL, a team should go in for one week of hard isolation in case of coming in contact with a positive person. They should return negative in three RT-PCR tests in the due course.
If four teams were to go into isolation, there is no way the tournament can be played. So, the BCCI has decided to suspend the tournament indefinitely. Delhi Capitals is the current table topper with Six wins out of the total eight matches it played. SRH is in the last position with just one in seven matches it played.Follow @THEPANIPURI
