Tamil Nadu has become the first state in the country to allow 100% occupancy in the theaters following a request of Thalapathy Vijay. But then, Vijay has come under severe criticism for his selfish act. After the neighboring state government has accepted it, the Telugu film producers council (TFPC) wrote a letter to the Governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for an increase in the occupancy of seats.
Due to the criticism on Vijay, Telugu stars are hesitant to go and directly request the Chief Ministers even though they want it as well. Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja was asked about his opinion on 100% occupancy in an interview ahead of the release of his Krack.
“I came to know that such attempts are being made in Tollywood as well. I feel it will good if we are allowed 100% occupancy. I urge the audience coming to the theaters to wear masks for sure. It will be good if they carry a small sanitizer bottle as well with them,” he said.Follow @THEPANIPURI
