Despite A Flop, Keerthy Suresh Still in Demand in OTT

Keerthy Suresh’s Tamil film, Penguin and its Telugu dubbing version have skipped their theatrical window and released online directly on Amazon Prime Video. But then, the movie ended up as a dud. Now, the actress’ another film, Miss India is also going to release online.

The movie was supposed to release in April but it did not happen due to the Corona Pandemic and the Lockdown. A newcomer Narendranath has directed the film. Reports are that Netflix bagged the film’s rights for  a whopping Rs 9.5 crore plus GST. This will land the producer in profits.

The film is also her landmark 20th film, and we are told that it is about women’s problems. Senior comedy actors Naresh and Rajendra Prasad have important roles in this female-centric movie. ‘Attarintiki Daredi’ actress Nadiya, Bhanusree Mehra, and Kamal Kamaraju will be seen in other vital roles.
