Audience To Be Allowed for IPL?

Artificial Crowds and Cheers for IPL Matches

IPL 2020 is going to be Special and Different as the teams will be playing amid the Coronavirus scare. Thirteen from the Chennai Super Kings team getting tested positive for the virus in UAE came as a shock for everyone. The COVID Protocols are further tightened so as to ensure the tournament happens as per the plan.

Earlier, it was decided not to allow fans to the stadiums but BCCI seems to have changed its stance. “IPL 2020 will create records in the TV Viewership. The matches may start with no audience in stands but they may slowly allow up to 30% audience later,” BCCI President Sourav Ganguly said.

The action-packed Cricket Tournament will begin from September 19th. The IPL this year has been shifted to the UAE due to the ballooning Corona cases in India. BCCI is yet to release the tournament schedule. It is bidding time to see how things pan out in the Chennai Super Kings camp.
