American Company Goes Bankrupt While Working for 2.0

Superstar Rajinikanth and Sensational Director Shankar’s 2.0 was first planned for January 26th release and was later pushed to April. Now, the movie is once again postponed. The postponement this time is almost indefinitely. We are told that the delay is due to the VFX work. “Things began going wrong with 2.0 after the American digital company that was given the task of doing the VFX goofed up and declared itself bankrupt,” a source in the team told us.
Given that a huge money is at stake, the makers would want a favorable release date. As things start, the movie is unlikely to release before the Independence Day Week. With Shankar, you will never know if the delay will be more than that. The movie budget has crossed more than 400 Crore and is costliest in Indian Cinema. Amy Jackson is romancing Rajinikanth in this film. Robot is a sensational hit in Telugu and Tamil back then and so there is a tremendous expectation and hype on the film in the audience and trade. 2.0 also marks the Southern debut of Bollywood Superstar Akshay Kumar.
